OAXACA

THE CITY AND ITS CULINARY TRADITIONS

Home to 16 of the 56 indigenous groups of Mexico, Oaxaca is the most ethnically diverse state of the country—a trait visible in every aspect of the city and its daily life.

Colonial buildings decorated with contrasting colors and green sandstone set the stage for imposing barroque churches and convents, bustling markets, intricate local arts and textiles, and an exquisitely complex cuisine based on traditions as old as the archeological sites of the city. In this 7 night, 6 day immersion trip we will venture inside all the costumes and cultural aspects of Oaxaca in a way only locals know how to.

MEXICO CITY

WHERE WORLDS COLLIDE

Formerly Distrito Federal, la Ciudad de México is a palimpsest come to life. Here, modernity intertwines with vestiges of the Aztec Empire, and a dynamic culture that can be witnessed in the fiber of the everyday. From their innumerable museums to its energetic culinary scene, this city has it all, and it is no wonder why The New York Times  named it the number one destination to visit in 2016.

In this 7-night, 8-day immersion trip, we will dive into the old and new, experiencing the ever-changing traditions of the city in a way only locals know how to. Let Iliana de la Vega, acclaimed Chef and Mexican cuisine specialist, and Isabel Torrealba, cultural Anthropologist and Journalist, guide you through the backstreets and traditions of this stunning city. As former long-time residents, we know where to go.
